The 8th annual Women of Action Luncheon took place on April 20, 2009 at the Sheraton Centre.
Once again, mother and daughter combo Susan and Jodi Fenwick Co-Chaired the event, and are joined by Vice-Chairs Fara and Daphne Fenwick. The 2009 Women of Action honourees included: Dr. Sylvia Asa, Vicki Campbell, Barbara Stymiest, and Vanessa Melman-Yakobson.
This year’s Luncheon was a great success, welcoming 600 guests from the Toronto community.

The 7th annual ICRF Women of Action Luncheon, held on April 14, 2008 at the Sheraton Centre was an overwhelming success. Co-Chaired by Mother-daughter team Susan and Jodi Fenwick, ICRF was delighted to honour an accomplished group of exceptional women. Dr. Rena Buckstein, Clinical Hematologist/Clinical Scientist, Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre; Judy Feld Carr, CM, Musicologist and secret rescuer of over 3,000 Jews from Syria; Ellen Schwartz, co-founder of Jacob's Ladder, Canadian Foundation for Control of Neurodegenerative Disease; and Cherry Tabb, co-founder and CEO of the Herzig Eye Institute.

On April 19, 2007 Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) celebrated our 6th annual Women of Action Luncheon where we recognized the achievements of outstanding women in the business, health sciences and philanthropy sectors. The event was a resounding success raising over $300,000. This year we were privileged to honour: Susan Fenwick, Philanthropist and outstanding community leader; Carole Tanenbaum, Entrepreneur and renowned collector of vintage jewellery; Elana Waldman, Cancer survivor and advocate for cancer research; Dr. Irene Andrulis, Director, Ontario Cancer Genetics Network, Cancer Care Ontario.
